Great people great personalities win-win situation
Decent rental agency for the area. Condo was clean quiet and comfy. Kinda pricey but not bad for location. Right down the beach from where the fireworks were set off. Customer service is top notch if you have and issues or questions prior to and during your trip. Would rent from them again.
I have been wrestling with the idea of posting this review for a few weeks. I decided it was necessary to bring this to light in the hope that others will be more vigilant. We have been spending our summer vacations in North Myrtle Beach with extended family since 1987. We have dealt with Grand Strand Realty for many, many of those years and have been very satisfied with their customer service. This past visit, 07/15/17 thru 07/29/17 was not quite as pleasant. Without going into detail, let me just say that a condition in the condo we rented meant that we could not, under any circumstances, occupy that condo. So after having moved in several bags of clothing, bedding, beach and food items we were forced to move out (meaning carrying everything back down and repacking our car, only having to move back into another condo) This all took us about 4 hours in the heat. Unfortunately, the replacement condo was available for only one week, so we had to do the move-out move-in thing again the following Saturday to another condo. On 07/29 we moved out as vacation was over. That was 6 in and outs as opposed to what should have been only 2. I guess what aggravates me the most, is that my husband and I were the ones to discover the reason that the original condo was uninhabitable and it should have been the people who are paid to clean and check the condition of the condo. For all of this inconvenience, we were compensated $100.00, which we find was totally inadequate. I would like to hear from Grand Strand Realty as to why we didn't receive more compensation for what was, undeniably, their error. I do want to say that in the past, the staff at Grand Strand have always been wonderful. I just think they dropped the ball this time.
Great place to stay for a large family, friends!! Love Sedgefield! Everything you could want in a beach stay!
Company was pleasant to deal with. The house was not as nice as advertised.
