Our room was on the first floor, but we didn't hear much traffic. Although the room seemed recently redone there was wear and tear on some furniture bits. The beds were rather high of the floor which made me worry for my young daughter. The bathroom door was also very squeaky which made it hard for me to use after my daughter went to sleep. The fridge worked really well, and the a.c. blasted very cool air to the point that I needed to turn it down a few times. The location is situated between many food choices, some within walking distance. While bringing things to my car a room service employee stopped too ask if our room needed anything. There is an ice bucket that we didn't need to use, cups, a hair dryer, microwave, safe and coffee pot (along with all the usual soap and shampoo stuff). The was even mints on the bed when we entered! I needed to hang some of our clothes as we had got caught in the rain and there was only one clothes hanger, meaning I had to drape things over the shower curtain making shower time tricky. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. I do wish the drain on the sink wasn't so wide open and noisy(once again only a problem when I needed to use the restroom after my daughter had gone to sleep. ) The pillows were very plush and the bed of a medium firmness. All the appliances we used were in good working order and the room looked and smelled clean.
This hotel has roaches! If I hadn't already paid my money and had to look for another place on such short notice, I would have left! We had to keep our luggage in the car because we don't have roaches and sure as hell didn't want to take any back home! The housekeeping needs to do a better job cleaning and the supervisor needs to make sure the rooms are clean! I worked housekeeping for 15 years and 5 years of the 15, I supervised housekeepers and there is no way that room would have passed inspection for a guest to stay there! I have stayed in hotels for less, with so better up keep of the rooms! I will never stay here again!
This place is horrible! It doesn't even deserve one star. AC only put out warm air. You could hear all noises outside therefore couldn't sleep. I could go on and on but not going to waste my time.
This place is just what you might expect, and less. The carpet appeared to be fairly new, and they had thrown some paint around, but it is run-down and needs major renovations.
So accommodating for a late unexpected check in when every hotel we tried was booked! My friend ended up getting sick and they gave us a late check-out so she could get some rest. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable
One tricky thing is that they stop the "breakfast" at 9 AM! This is a tourist area, and people do not get up early, generally. I do not think that they care. There are many good hotels around there though. We just had to stay here because everything else was sold out.
