So, thank you. My family and I will never forget what you've done for us.

With unending gratitude,

The fact that Bella is still here is a miracle. I know that they probably save a lot of lives in a given year, but I want to let you know that this life and Bella's is forever grateful.

The work you do is so important. And you excel at your work in every way possible.

I would highly recommend this office. Staff and vet were kind and helpful in our time of need.

DO NOT ....go in there. I have no clue who they have writing reviews for them but this place is so inept, to say the least, and act like high pressure salesmen. They lured us in with a free visit, which ended up being about $56, because they insisted on giving us a puppy worm check (tell me what puppy couldn't they atleast find a few worm eggs in). But in our case, the puppy, that had already been given worming medicine (but they insisted needed more) went from having better stools, to bloody ones after giving more worming medicines. By the time I got our dog to Kind Care Vet, who gave us a much grimmer assessment of what our little puppy was going through, and $179 more minimum treatment, next day our little doggie died. This occurred all within a 3 day period. Ms. Karen Hughes, vet at Banfield Vet got it all wrong. Pup was not in good health as she had assessed 2 days prior, and pup didn't just need to "eat a little more" as she told my husband when she called back in answer to our skepticism of her "good health" report of the puppy. Guess no freebies except for buying worming treatments. Then when I called back to report I was just given the shaft by one of the men vets who works there. I wish I could rate this place a 'no star' instead of having to give it one. I wouldn't take a dog here!

I am writing to tell you how grateful I am for Banfield Animal Hospital in North Myrtle Beach for the doctors and nurses assigned to Bella when she was diagnosed with Lymphoma earlier in the month.

If your dog has a simple treatment then the Banfield in North Myrtle Beach is ok. The staff is quick and seems to just want to move you in and out as quick as possible. If you have to call back about the same issue they always want to schedule another appointment to reassess. This has happened on more than one occasion with us at Banfield and it seems they are in it just for the money and not the care of our animals. In our case, our dog had a lump on the side of her face. They biopsied it and found it was benign. The doctor told me to watch it and if it gets bigger or it becomes bothersome then we would have to have it removed and just call them. I called today because it has grown significantly and they are talking about having another appointment to reassess and then scheduling the surgery. And do lab work AGAIN and it was less than a month ago that she was seen. We are now calling another vet to actually start from the beginning. Usually the prices are more at Banfield than other vets and the care is not worth it. We used to go to the Banfield in Greenville, SC and loved it and the Doctor. When we moved here it has not been the same type of care and is not worth the extra cost or time. I would not recommend this Banfield in North Myrtle Beach to anyone.

The competency of Dr. Hibma and Dr. Hughes along with Ruth, Marshal, Zara, and Dayonna is awe-inspiring, and we couldn't have been more lucky than to have worked each physician on duty when we came into the hospital.

I have NEVER had a better experience then I had yesterday at an animal hospital! Unfortunately I had a very sick dog who had to be put down. Not only the doctor but everyone in the whole office was so caring, loving, respectful, and compassionate. I honestly cannot believe how amazing they were towards me and how much they went out of their way to help me! When I review and rate places I do it with extreme honesty and I can say with 100% this is a wonderful place to take your animals. Not only do they treat them as their own but they treat you like family. They will work with you and do everything they can to make it affordable to take care for your pet. Please consider this office when looking for a place for your pet! I am so grateful that I was blessed to meet this wonderful family at this veterinarian's office because that's exactly what it felt like...family.God bless them all! I'll never forget how helpful they were on such a hard day for my family and I.
