Love the place and the staff. We had so much fun and the food and drinks were great. The Bbq chicken and ribs were melt in your mouth good- Cooked to perfection!!! The hurricane was so yummy as well. Totally need one of these in the Charleston area!! Thanks for making the ending to our weekend trip the best!
Had a good server. He played the role very well and was funny. Did take a while to get food. But had a big group and was busy to begin with. Don't go wide sense of humor. My family has a wide sense of humor. That's why we enjoyed it so much. Food was good depending on what you got. I would suggest going around 3 and not dinner if you don't want to wait very long
Had such a great experience last year, we couldn't wait to come back. This year was a complete disaster. We should have known when we had no wait with a party of 8 at 6:00pm, in prime vacation season. Service and food were the worst we have experienced anywhere ever. 7 of the 8 people in our party had cold & raw food or charred steak and ribs. This was after we were served the wrong order. The server started out as you would expect at Dick's but very quickly got overwhelmed and called a manager over. He replaced parts of the order but didn't ask any questions and the food wasn't really any better the second time. Hats were only made after we were done eating and they were requested. Waitress had even gotten upset when bringing change, that the $20s left over from one of the tabs (20% from that receipt would have been $6.00) wasn't her tip. Don't waste your valuable vacation time or money at this establishment.
The whole "we're going to be a jerk" thing was absolutely hilarious! Unfortunately, the food was not nearly as good as the price would suggest. Half of our table didn't eat what they ordered because the quality was so poor. Mozzarella stocks were cold and undercooked. Popcorn chicken was like popcorn, if that popcorn was left under the seat in a cold and damp movie theater for six weeks (cold and not good). The crab legs came without a cracker, created a huge mess, and there were no napkins (for $25). They also had me horribly sick later on in the evening. Ultimately, the clever and quick witted rapport with our server was not enough to compensate for the poor culinary options, as well as the very high prices. Would not recommend.
Outstanding staff and dining experience! My dad, brother, and brother-in-law visit every summer when we go to the beach. It's the highlight of our visit! It's a unique dining experience for sure, but the food is always good and very reasonably priced!
